"For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior,
which is Christ the Lord."

The first time I heard All is Well I was at a Michael W. Smith concert with Rob and the boys. Along with Mr. Smith, the girls from Point of Grace were there.
They sang what has become one of my most favorite Christmas songs. It's such a favorite, I listen to it when it's not even Christmas.
All is Well from their Winter Wonderland cd is the first one I like to listen to at Christmas (or whenever I need a solid reminder of Jesus' impact on my life).
All is well because Jesus Christ was born. Even in the midst of war, rumors of war, disasters, illness, financial loss, and losing a loved one on one end of the spectrum to security of job and finances, good health, freedom, happy family life, and happy birth days on the other end...all is well because Jesus has come.
It was at that very concert when we adopted our Compassion child who I may never meet this side of heaven. So when I hear this song, I think of him in his village in Africa and I pray he knows the Jesus in this song.
My favorite way to hear this song is with my headphones on while looking at a night sky filled with stars. No kidding. Try it.
